UFS 211 TASK 3

Stages of "Writing Process"

6 STAGES OF WRITING PROCESS

Based on my own word.

First Stages ( Planning )

- Ideas and Inspiration are very important and useful to start the writing process. We need an idea to come out with a lot of thoughts. Surely, we do need an inspiration from anything that may occurs to our brilliant idea to write a great story. Do lots of research and reading. Normally when we have many ideas, we need to plan which ideas is the best to use in writing, but according to its title.
  • Make sure that your writing is not out from its header.
  • procrastination is not good in writing.

Second Stages ( Drafting )

- In writing the first paragraph, our minds have to be out of its  shell. We need to be more creative to not really focus on grammar, spelling and punctuation. We need to write more than just based on the scheme in writing.

  • A stronger Opening paragraph attracts the reader to be more questioning on what will come in next draft.
  • The Body paragraph or discussion, we need to put on the ideas or aspect from it's topic.
  • Joined in with the explanation, example, facts or opinion to make the paragraph stronger.
  • Don't forget to beautify the verse with connecting words.
  • The Ending or Conclusion is needed to be in appropriate ways. Closing words may be in a statement so that the reader might be wondering and asking for more.

Third Stages ( Revising )

- To make sure that your writing is good and with no mistakes. When finished with writing, we need to read more than once. To figure out whether your topic is actually in it's shell or out of topic.
  • Should I remove or add on a part or even a word from the paragraph.
  • Is it enough word to convince the reader and if there's any statement that i should include in the text.
  • Does the text suitable with its connector.
  • Beware of using showing-off word or fancy word when you do even not know what does the word means.

Fourth Stages ( Editing )

- Some part of editing is like revising. Editing is more to be like changing your improper word to proper word. Language and technicalities first than the content.
  • Rules in English to obey. The right grammars, verb-to be are used correctly.
  • Dictionary to correct any words that you might not well in spelling it.

Fifth Stages ( Proofreading )

- After revising and editing, we need to do some proofreading before we come out with printing or email our writing. To make sure our writing is in order and complete with no mistakes such a small mistakes can turn the writing into many language errors. To prevent that, we do really need to remove those invisible blemishes away from our writing.

Sixth Stages ( Presenting )

- At last the last stages, Presenting. In presenting writing, we have to convince ourselves before trying to convince the reader with our writing. No errors in our writing, time for imperfect changes to perfect writing.
  • Handwriting is required to be in neat and legibly.
  • Computer, be consistent with its font, spacing and heading levels.
The writing process may be a hard or difficult to some of people. But the easiest way to be pro with writing is always be used with it.
